Rules for using Clinic Shortlist, a free guide to private clinics in the UAE. No medical advice, no bookings and no charge to patients.
Scope
These terms apply when you use Clinic Shortlist (clinicshortlist.com), a free guide to private clinics in the United Arab Emirates: aesthetic and dental clinics, orthodontists, dermatologists, laser hair removal and hair transplant clinics, and plastic surgeons. Using the site means you accept them.
Not medical advice
The lists are there to help you find and compare clinics. They do not diagnose anything, they do not recommend a treatment, product, device or practitioner, and they cannot replace a consultation with a licensed professional who has examined you. Every treatment has risks, and only the person treating you can explain them in your case.
We are not a clinic
Clinic Shortlist treats no one, books no appointments and never charges patients. It makes no promise about any clinic’s results, safety, prices, licences or waiting times. Agreements for treatment, including instalment plans, are made between you and the clinic, never with us.
How the lists are made
They are based on public information about each clinic (what patients say, the treatments it publishes, its contact details and hours) and on the criteria in “How we select”. A clinic with a Top plan appears in one of the first places of a list, and a clinic with a Pro plan has a fuller page, both with a label. A paid plan is neither a check of the clinic nor an endorsement.
Confirm details with the clinic
We go over the lists periodically, yet phone numbers, addresses, hours, treatments and prices do change. Check them directly with the clinic. Ask for the licence number of whoever will treat you and check it with the health regulator of that emirate, and get the full price with VAT and the aftercare in writing.
Claimed pages and plans
By claiming a clinic’s page you confirm that you may manage it, that the clinic and its staff hold the licences their work needs, and that what you publish is true and not misleading. Each clinic answers for its own wording, which must follow the medical advertising rules of its emirate and must not promise results. We may correct or remove inaccurate or misleading content. Plan terms are shown in the business area.
Things you may not do
Do not use the site for anything unlawful, scrape its lists with automated tools, try to get into restricted areas, pose as another person or clinic, or provide false information.
Intellectual property
The texts, selection criteria, order of the lists, name and design of Clinic Shortlist are owned by the site’s owner or used with permission. Linking and short quotations with a credit are welcome. Copying a substantial part needs our written permission.
Liability and changes
To the extent the law allows, Clinic Shortlist is not liable for what listed clinics do or say, or for the content of other websites. Rights that the law does not allow to be limited are not affected. These terms may change, and the version published on this page is the one in force.
